Welcome to Stitch in Time
At Stitch in Time we offer you the best patchwork kits, quilt patterns from Australian and American designers, and a wide variety of new and exciting fabrics, to suit all levels of patchworkers.

Highgate Shop
Stitch in Time opened our shop at 445 Fullarton Rd, Highgate in February 2005, a few minutes south of the city of Adelaide. The shop is large and airy and has brilliant natural light. We are thrilled with the lovely comments that we have received from many customers, and you can expect to be WOWED with the large range of patchwork fabrics, quilt patterns and patchwork kits, including all the latest designs.
Our exclusive range of gift ware compliments the ambiance of a patchwork shop.
There is a large number of quilts on display as well as lots of quilt patterns, kits and patchwork supplies. We conduct regular classes and "Sit and Sew" days as well as inviting talented tutors to share their skills with you.

Block of the Month
Our Block of the Month programme for 2008 is in full swing.
Our latest quilt is the lovely "December's Garden" by Gail Pan Designs. More photographs of the quilt will follow shortly when Heather completes our sample. We have used the Moda range 'Birchwood Lane' plus other fabrics, these are rich greens and reds and the quilt is beautiful.
"Butterfly Garden" by Leanne's House is still popular--- the fabric colours and the pretty embroideries make this a very lovely quilt.
Another new Block of the Month is "Sew Busy Bears" by Teddlywinks Design. This quilt is in soft and pretty country colours and features teddys doing lots of creative sewing things. Look under the Block of the Month section to see pictures.
"Noah and Friends" is from the well known Kookaburra Cottage designers. This is an easy quilt to make as the appliques are simple, but it makes a great childs quilt.
One of immensely popular quilts this year has been Angels Among Us. This is a smaller quilt which features angels with delightful sayings.

Patterns from popular International Designers
Quilts and wallhangings are featured in patterns from Art to Heart; our favourites being 'Family Matters', 'Joy to the World', 'Come What May', 'The First Noel' and 'Secrets of Life'. These are small, easy to achieve patchwork projects.
Crabapple Hill design beautiful patchwork cushions with feature embroidery.
Cotton Ginny's have very cute chickens and roosters, and Bareroots include patchwork bags and wallhangings.

Shop Visits

Stitcheries
Our stitchery range is sure to please the beginner or experienced embroiderer. There are lots of designs to choose from and some of our customer's favrourite books include "A Christmas Story", "A Family Gathering" and "A Gardener's Journal" all by Anni Downs. There are always new books arriving with great new projects. We are continually finding new designs which we love and we enjoy making samples for you to see when you come to visit us. We have heaps of Ella & Skysie designs ranging from Pixies and Fairies to Antique Sewing Machines and cute Farmyard Animal characters for baby quilts for both boys and girls.

Our Services
At Stitch in Time we are happy to help our customers in any way that we can. We mail-order Australia wide, often on the same day. There are the rare times that we have trouble with supplies and things can run late, but you can rest assured that you will always receive your order.
